A relaxed, family-friendly option around Sahuarita Lake for all our four-legged companions.
5K Run
Perfect for recreational runners, first-timers, and anyone running for a cause.
Trail Route
Course maps for the 5K and Doggie Dash will be shared closer to race day so participants can plan ahead with confidence. On race day, routes will be clearly marked, and volunteers will be stationed along the course to support participants every step of the way.

Supporting Local Animal Rescue Shelters
Proceeds from Trails & Tails 5K help ensure animal shelters and adoption agencies in southern Arizona have the supplies they need to take care of dogs while they search for their fur-ever homes.
Trails and Tails Post-Race Festivities
Race day at the Trails & Tails 5K and Doggie Dash is about more than crossing a finish line. Beginning at 8:00 a.m. right after the race events, a full morning of family-friendly fun kicks off – featuring inflatables, music, entertainment, a vendor zone, Doggie ‘Best-Dressed’ Costume Contest and more!
