Spring is in the air in Sahuarita, just in time for Spring Festival. This popular event, which will take place on Saturday, March 30th from 11 am – 3 pm, is the result of collaborations between many key partners in the Town of Sahuarita.The collaborators involveved with the design, planning, and specific aspects of this event include the Town itself, Rural/Metro Fire Department, The United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona, and Rancho Sahuarita. The event will feature many activities aimed at children and families, including Easter egg hunts, visits with the Easter Bunny, jumping castles, and a vendor area full of 30 busineses providing information about their companies as well as free actitivies and crafts for children. Food vendors will be on hand for area residents to enjoy. This will include businesses and organizations offering everything from arts and crafts to games, including hula-Hooping and golf from other partners such as Carondelet Health Network and Wyndham Canoa Ranch Resort. There will also be an event area featuring performances from many local groups and organizations, with the desire to entertain those in attendance and promote the good work that they do. Spring Festival will take place at Anamax Park in Sahuarita, and is open to all residents of the Town of Sahuarita and Green Valley.
