Sahuarita Water Company (SWC) has been providing water service to the northern portion of Sahuarita since 2000. The company currently provides water to the Rancho Sahuarita and Rancho Resort communities, the Rancho Sahuarita Marketplace, the Sahuarita Unified School District, and the Town Center area. The team at SWC is dedicated to the highest level of water quality and delivery, excellent customer service, and conservation.

The source of Sahuarita Water Company’s water is groundwater drawn from the aquifer, which exists underneath the community. The company holds a 100-year Designation of Assured Water Supply with the Arizona Department of Water Resources, and works everyday to comply with all necessary rules and regulations, while at the same time maintaining their commitment to deliver exemplary service.

In May of 2010, the company earned the prestigious award of “Best Small Water Utility” in the state of Arizona by the Arizona Water Association. As the website states, “At Sahuarita Water Company, providing you with high-quality drinking water is not just our job, it’s our life.”

While delivering quality high quality drinking water is a priority, SWC prides itself on maintaining great relationships with customers. By ensuring customer satisfaction in daily operations, or in the event of a crisis or issue, SWC is devoted to delivering a great experience and the most timely and accurate information possible to its customers. In addition, with tools that help make the process as easy as possible for customers, including online bill pay, the company can ensure a high level of productivity and an increased ease for customers. Customer Service Manager, Tia Vance, remarked, “We have a wonderful team at Sahuarita Water Company, and I am very thankful to be a part of it.”

The company also maintains a commitment to sustainability and conservation efforts. In Arizona, where water is a precious commodity, it is important that water is collected, treated, and delivered in the most efficient and conscious way possible. SWC works to repair leaks, prevent waste, and recycle when possible.  The company provides information and conservation tips in welcome packets for new customers, at booths at local events, and at the main office. SWC also goes into local schools in the Sahuarita Unified School District to discuss water conservation.
