Northwest Healthcare has debuted a first look at its new hospital, planned for the Sahuarita Town Center. The new facility, which is part of the provider’s “No Boundaries” expansion strategy, will bring 18 hospital beds, and 150 high-paying jobs to the region.
The rendering offers a preview of the new building, which incorporates the unique design elements highlighted throughout the Rancho Sahuarita Community. Jeremy Sharpe, Chief Operating Officer for Rancho Sahuarita said “The Sahuarita Town Center has always been envisioned as a central gathering place with healthcare as a key component. The future Northwest Hospital highlights important design features that connect the building with the surrounding community. We’re looking forward to seeing this project begin construction in the coming months.”
The new hospital will include an emergency room and two operating rooms, in addition to medical offices with services such as primary care, cardiology, orthopedics and general surgery. Additional details regarding specific services available will be released in the coming months.
The new hospital, which is expected to open near the year’s end, is the newest business being added to the existing offerings located in the Sahuarita Town Center. These currently include Town municipal buildings, restaurants, an award-winning elementary school and Early Childhood Center, a post office, public library, and an aquatics center. Healthcare services being located in close proximity to resident homes is a critical piece of filling crucial needs for residents of the area, and thus Northwest Hospital is a welcomed and highly anticipated addition to the center.
The new hospital will also allow for the addition of various ancillary service offerings, and restaurants and businesses to serve the new facility’s employees and patients. The Rancho Sahuarita Company is actively working to market the surrounding pads to groups, and new additions will be announced in the future.
Kevin Stockton, Regional President and Market CEO for Northwest Healthcare, said, “We are happy that plans are progressing with the development site. We will break ground on the new hospital in the near future and are looking forward to serving this community at our new facility.”
More details about the new facility and an official groundbreaking date will be forthcoming.
