“Red, White and Boom!” 4th of July Celebration Next Month!

The “Red, White and Boom!” 4th of July Celebration is returning for another year, on Wednesday, July 4th at the Sahuarita Lake Amphitheater from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. Rancho Sahuarita is partnering with the Town of Sahuarita to bring local residents this popular community event, which drew roughly 10,000 people in its inaugural year in 2015.

This year’s event will be complete with live music, food trucks, face painters and more! The night also includes the return of the “Whatever Floats Your Boat Competition”, (kicking off at 6:30 p.m.) which allows residents the opportunity to build their own non-motorized boats and demonstrate them in front of spectators and be judged for the chance to win prizes.

Finally, the highlight of the event will be the fireworks, which will begin promptly at 9:00 p.m. Residents are invited to congregate around the lake, which will be the perfect viewing area for the show. This event is also open to the public, so it’s the perfect opportunity to bring your friends and give them a chance to experience what the community has to offer!

*Parking will be available in various areas of the community, and shuttles will help transport attendees to the event. Shuttles will run from Anza Trail School, to the event lot at Rancho Sahuarita Blvd. and Camino Lago Azul, and then to the event beginning at 6:00 p.m.

For any questions about this event, or for more details, contact Club Rancho Sahuarita (at 520-207-7730), or the Town of Sahuarita Parks and Recreation Department.
