Rancho Sahuarita’s 25th Anniversary Celebration Continues with a Standout Summer Kickoff

For 25 years, Rancho Sahuarita has been a community where holidays and meaningful moments can be cherished by its residents close to home. As the summer season approaches, this year’s Memorial Day weekend events highlighted how the community’s shared spaces and ongoing traditions continue to shape resident life in an impactful and memorable way.

The holiday weekend began with the annual reopening of the Splash Park, a highly anticipated tradition that Rancho Sahuarita families look forward to each year. Residents were delighted to spend their Saturday enjoying water activities, games, food truck vendors and various raffles to start the summer season.

 The festivities continued Sunday evening with another resident favorite, Movies Under the Stars. Events like this have become a familiar part of the community, offering families a simple way to spend quality time together without having to travel far.

On Monday morning, the community gathered for the annual Sunrise Remembrance to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. With many residents connected to the Armed Forces, the ceremony carried special meaning and showcased the community’s appreciation for those who serve and have served.

These events perfectly capture the spirit of Rancho Sahuarita’s ongoing 25th anniversary celebration. Throughout the anniversary year, the community has celebrated each 25th day of the month with themed giveaways and activities to recognize the milestone. May’s celebration featured a summer-themed snow cone giveaway, offering a refreshing treat to cool off and close out the festivities.
