Beginning in January, the Lifestyle Team at Club Rancho Sahuarita will introduce one of its new programs for 2016; the “Healthy Living Lecture Series”. Throughout the spring, the Clubhouse will be featuring a series of lectures and demonstrations utilizing the new La Villita Lounge and Kitchen focusing on tips and tricks to live healthy lifestyles.The specific topics and features will vary, and information about the different monthly focuses will be available as details are solidified.
The first in the series invites residents of Rancho Sahuarita to attend “A New Year, a New You” on Saturday, January 16th at 11:00 a.m. The Staff Nutritionist, Sarah Marrs, will demonstrate how to make small, sustainable lifestyle changes and how to prepare 3 quick and healthy meals in 30 minutes or less! The goal of the session is to show and inspire residents how to make more meals at home and focus on making small, sustainable changes for the entire family. No registration is required, and the event is free! Residents will also be able to sample the recipes demonstrated.
In 2016, health and wellness will continue to be a core focus for the lifestyle of Rancho Sahuarita, and the Healthy Living Lectures, designed to help teach habits and inspire choices to maximize health and well being, are a great way to get started!
