On Friday, April 19th, industry members from all across the housing, construction and real estate sectors in the region will gather at the “Power of Real Estate Summit” at the Tucson Convention Center, hosted by the Southern Arizona Homebuilders Association (SAHBA) and the Tucson Association of Realtors (TAR).
The event is designed to “showcase the industry’s impact on Southern Arizona and to collectively learn about the challenges and opportunities ahead in 2024.” Dr. Jessica Lautz, Deputy Chief Economist and Vice President of Research at the National Association of REALTORS®, will speak on the overall economic outlook. M. Nolan Gray will serve as the keynote speaker, and will talk about the topic of urban zoning. Rancho Sahuarita’s own Managing Partner, Jeremy Sharpe, will moderate a special panel focused on all things housing, including issues in solving the supply and demand equation, development, and related challenges and opportunities. He will be joined by panelists Jim Tofel (Tofel Dent Construction), Anjela Salyer (Mattamy Homes) and Kevin Kaplan (Long Realty Company).
