Through a continued partnership with Carondelet Health Network, Rancho Sahuarita was able to offer free summer camps again this summer for residents. As part of the community’s ongoing initiative to deliver opportunities for residents to live healthy, fulfilling lives, the camps help offer children of the community a fun, engaging and safe opportunity to spend time and make new friends for the summer break.
Rancho Sahuarita, in partnership with Carondelet St. Mary’s Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital, offered these camps to resident children beginning this past June. 180 children were able to participate, at no cost to the families. This is the sixth year of the program.
The camps center on teaching the children health and wellness through activities, nutrition, sports and more. New this year, children were also able to participate in exciting field trips to various locations.
