On Saturday, September 16th residents from Rancho Sahuarita’s newest neighborhood, Presidio Porvenir gathered at Parque Del Presidio for a block party hosted by Rancho Sahuarita. This was the first in a series of new neighborhood block parties that Rancho Sahuarita plans to hold as new neighborhoods close out.
Despite some intermittent rain, approximately 150 residents gathered at the park to enjoy hotdogs, chips and beverages, learn more about their new community and connect with each other.
The children enjoyed face painting and jumping castles while the adults became better acquainted. Popcorn and sno cones were a big hit with the kids. The evening ended with families sitting down to enjoy a movie together on the big screen.
