Sahuarita Unified School District

Sahuarita Unified School District is the largest district in Arizona, by area served. Through eight schools and an early childhood center, SUSD educates over 5,000 students across 600 square miles annually.

Of the six schools located within Rancho Sahuarita, five received “A” or “B” letter grades from the Arizona Department of Education in 2014. The district also includes an Early Childhood Center for children younger than school-age.

The University of Arizona

Sahuarita is less than 30 minutes from the campus of the University of Arizona, a large research university recognized for achievements in science, water research, space exploration, land development and sustainability, and public health. The University is a member of the PAC-12 and attracts students nationally and internationally.

Pima Community College

Tucson’s two-year public college system, Pima Community College, offers classes at six locations throughout Pima County. The college awards associate’s degrees in a variety of fields, as well as professional certifications and course credit.
