Joined by a local network of neighbors and friends, leaders of “The Sahuarita Clean Up Crew,” Elizabeth Boudreau, Michelle O’Conner, and Dale Cuneo say that Keeping Sahuarita Beautiful is their motto.
In addition to doing their part to keep their neighborhoods litter-free and bringing awareness to the importance of taking care of our communities, the group also seeks to educate local youth on the topic.
Having a shared understanding of the value in people coming together to maintain and beautify their communities, the group says that their passion steams from just that; “A home should not just be a place to live, but a safe and thriving place to play and connect.”
With the group starting in fall of 2022, it has now grown to a group of over 200 people of action who volunteer. Residents interested in getting involved can connect with the group on Facebook.
