This Memorial Day weekend in Rancho Sahuarita, while still filled with its typical fun of the Splash Park opening, movie night and more, will be a special one. On Monday morning, the 27th, at 7:00 a.m., Rancho Sahuarita is holding a special event for residents at its Armed Forces Tribute, to commemorate the service and sacrifice of those who have fought for our freedom.
In Rancho Sahuarita especially, where so many of the residents are part of or have a tie to someone in the Armed Forces, events that pay tribute in this way are incredibly meaningful and important.
At the community’s first “Sunrise Remembrance” event, residents will be able to come together for a morning that will serve as a tribute to all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. The event will include the playing of Taps, a brief benediction and the placement of a Memorial Wreath.
