Rancho Sahuarita’s two newest neighborhoods, Entrada La Villita and Entrada Del Rio, offer prospective buyers lots of unique and appealing new home options to fit their needs. But with so many choices available, it can be tough to know where to start. That’s why we’ll be featuring the different new home floorplans available in our community, in our new “Floorplan Focus” blog series. First up – the “Lawson” by Richmond American Homes at Entrada La Villita.
The Lawson, which is part of a new collection of floorplans brought into the market at La Villita, is approximately 2,510 square feet, and can range from 3-5 bedroom designs depending on what a buyer wants. Bathroom count can range from 2.5-3, and the two-story home features a 2-car garage. The floorplan has 3 different exterior elevation choices (Elevation A is pictured here).
The main floor of the home includes a great room and an open dining room that leads directly to the large kitchen. The kitchen features a built-in pantry and center island. Down the hall, a private office/study and a “powder room” (often referred to as a “half-bath”,) offer buyers some flexibility, as the combo can be optioned as an extra bedroom and full bath. The laundry room is located upstairs, near a central loft area that connects the master suite and additional bedrooms. Other options that can be customized, according to the Richmond American Homes’ website, include the upgrade to a gourmet kitchen and another bedroom instead of that central upstairs loft space.
The home also has a projected HERS® score of 63. A HERS score is a metric that Richmond American Homes uses to rate the energy efficiency of a home they offer. According to their website, “To help demonstrate the energy efficiency of Richmond American homes to your clients, we provide a projected RESNET HERS® (Home Energy Rating System) score for floor plans on our website.* Typical resale homes have an average score of 130, and the lower the score, the better. As you’ll see, many of our homes have projected scores in the 50s and 60s!” (More info can be found here.)
