Falling In Love with the Fun of Fall

It was just a few weeks ago that residents of Rancho Sahuarita were riding the water slides and splashing in the pool, but it’s October now, and that means fall in Rancho Sahuarita is finally here! This new season brings the anticipation of cooler temperatures, fresh starts, fall home decorating, and festive events.

Speaking of fresh starts, the Health and Wellness Department at Club Rancho Sahuarita listened to resident requests and are now offering brand new fitness classes! Pound, Low Impact Dance for 55+, Low Impact Cardio for 55+, and Zumba Gold for 55+ are all new classes (in addition to the already great line up of classes offered this season). Plus, Sculpt, Ropes and Bands, and Just for Fun Dance Lessons are back from their summer hiatus.

And although our Southern Arizona temperatures don’t quite feel so “fall-like” yet, we can help usher in the season by decorating the inside of our homes with autumn décor. Refresh your home to match the season by adding wood textures, leaves, pumpkins, gourds and mums into your decorating. Add warm-scented candles and plaid fabrics for finishing touches. Get the kids involved in decorating by making fall crafts together as a family. Here’s an article we found for some fun, fall craft ideas to help you get started: https://www.parents.com/fun/arts-crafts/kid/fall-nature-crafts-for-kids/.

Fall is always jam packed with festive resident events and Rancho Sahuarita has something for everyone! The popular Community Yard Sale starts off the month, followed by the “I Can Cook for Kids-Pumpkin Edition”. Teens won’t want to miss a fun night out at Old Tucson Studios for “Nightfall”. And, a definite community favorite, Sahuarita Spooktacular, is back again this year! It offers a haunted house, carnival games and an 80-car trunk-or-treat. Plus, Spooktacular is open to the public, so it is a great opportunity to come check out the community if you’ve been thinking about moving here.

Fall is finally here and Rancho Sahuarita offers lots of options to help its residents make this the best fall season ever for families. Whether they attend a new fitness class, decorate and make some fall crafts with their kids or attend a fall themed event, we hope everyone can take time out to enjoy the season and fall in love with fall 2018.
