One of the Sahuarita community’s popular annual events in back this August. Canoe Days, which will take place on Saturday, August 10th and Sunday, August 11th (from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.) is happening at Sahuarita Lake. Weather permitting, this event will give families the great opportunity to spend time together canoeing in their own backyard.
This event is made possible by community partners, including Rancho Sahuarita, the Town of Sahuarita, and local boy scouts. It is the perfect opportunity to try canoeing in a safe, fun environment, and the event is completely free. No registration is required, and canoes, paddles and life jackets are being provided.
Plus, since this event is open to the public, it’s a great opportunity to bring down your friend or family member to experience the community for themselves.
