On September 11, 2013, students, faculty, parents and volunteers of Anza Trail school came together to honor the memory and service of all those who serve our country and community. The ceremony, which included a moment of silence to honor all those lost on September 11, 2001, included members of Rural/Metro Fire Department, Sahuarita Police Department, veterans and other important service members. The program featured a special presentation of various speakers, each taking the opportunity to commemorate the day and honor those in attendance. Walden Grove High School’s marching band and boy scouts also participated in the event.
