Aesop once said “No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” In Rancho Sahuarita, these acts of kindness are celebrated each day. At the Resident Coffee Socials, which take place every other Friday, this celebration is taken to another level. Carondelet Health Network, a vital community partner and partner in kindness, awards the ‘Kindness Mug’ to a resident who shares a kind story. These stories range from grand acts to simple gestures, each being equally special.
On Friday, November 15th, the mug was awarded to Brain Clay, a soldier and local resident. He was elected for serving our country, which Rancho Sahuarita Clubhouse team member, Kristina, said “trumps any act of kindness”. All the residents in attendance agreed, and gave Brian a standing ovation.
