In February, Southern Arizona based “Abby Lee Farms” opened their new “Grower Direct Garden Center” in Rancho Sahuarita. Abby Lee Farms is a large wholesale grower, selling various types of outdoor and indoor plants. Located in the Rancho Sahuarita Marketplace and Village (on Rancho Sahuarita Blvd. and Sahuarita Rd.), Abby Lee offers customers a selection of trees, shrubs and blooming ground cover, as well as edibles including peaches, apples, pomegranates, figs, a variety of vegetables and herbs – all at low prices and with outstanding customer service.
Abby Lee Farms’ parent company, Growers Market Inc. was first established in 1976 by Neal Brooks, President and Founder. With different locations around Arizona, Growers Market is able to grow everything naturally, which is one of the key concepts of the company.

Brooks began growing and selling plans in 1974 when he was just 12 years old. In 2005, he purchased farmland in Geronimo, Arizona, and began growing a selection of fruits and vegetables on a small scale in addition to hundreds of acres of alfalfa. After purchasing a 3.5 acres greenhouse off of Baseline Rd. in Phoenix, Arizona, he went on to transform the greenhouse into a high-tech hydroponic growing facility in 2013. This was the start of what “Abby Lee” is today.
Brooks expressed his excitement for opening to the Sahuarita community, sharing how “Our focus in Sahuarita is on plants! We will offer delivery and planting, so let us do the digging! Not only do we deliver and plant, but we also guarantee everything.”
He continued: “We will also offer ‘packages’, like the ‘Garden of EATIN’ – which consists of a 2 – 4-year-old fruit tree and 3 edible shrubs. We have 10 semi loads worth of plants, edible vegetables in our Tucson growing ground – ready for you!”
