Story Time for Tots is perfect for children 3 and older!
The team at Rancho Sahuarita has recently introduced a brand new activity for families, called Story Time for Tots. This activity, which is perfect for children 3 years of age and older, allows residents to enjoy a favorite story read aloud by a member of a local Sahuarita business or community partner. Guest readers so far have hosted programs centered around themes of mining, Rodeo, trains, and others. After the reading, the children are also able to participate in an age-appropriate craft or activity provided by the guest organization.
This activity is held every other Thursday at the Rancho Sahuarita Clubhouse, and has garnered a lot of attention so far. Just in its first few sessions, attendance numbers have increased dramatically, leading organizers to find way to expand and continue to grow the program.
Don Mounce, Community Director for Rancho Sahuarita, said: “Story Time for Tots is one of our latest lifestyle innovations to better serve our residents. It allows us to invite in residents and community leaders to share time and their favorite story with community children. And it creates a great family bond with the children and parents. The attendance results have been tremendous!’
