Join Rancho Sahuarita and other local businesses from the region for the 19th annual International Business Expo, hosted by the Green Valley Sahuarita Chamber of Commerce, this Saturday, January 12th. Beginning at 10 am, attendees can see, meet, and learn about over 75 businesses from the area. Chamber Board Member and Expo co-chair, Humberto N. Stevens stated of the event, “This year the Expo has expanded to include local, national, and international businesses.” This year’s Expo includes business participants from many different industries, including mining, medical, manufacturing, travel and leisure, sports and entertainment, as well as real estate.
In addition to being able to browse the various businesses, attendees can also get a sample of regional cuisine with the “Taste of the Valley”. The public is invited to try diverse culinary offerings from the area; all while enjoying entertainment that includes a band from the Sahuarita Unified School District. Food options available this year, each for $1 per serving, include everything from fine dining to old-fashioned home-cooking. There are various vendors offering different cuisines, including American, Mexican, and Italian.
There will also be various dignitaries and corporate heads present at this great event, including Mayor of the Town of Sahuarita, Duane Blumberg, and Ramón Guzmán Munoz, Mayor of Nogales, Sonora. Also in attendance will be Javier García Tapia, president of Mexico Industrial Chamber of Commerce, and Rosemont Copper CEO, Rod Pace, among others.
Rancho Sahuarita will have a booth at the event, and be handing out information on the community, raffling off a “Taste of our Community” gift basket, and networking with other businesses to attract them to our area. By participating in events like this, not only can Rancho Sahuarita get out in the community and raise awareness about all it offers, but it also brings unique opportunities for it to become involved as a major player in the region with other valuable area partners.
This event is free and open to the public, and will promise to include vast opportunities for businesses to cross-market and mingle, as well as opportunity and entertainment for area residents and visitors to enjoy. For more information, visit www.greenvalleychamber.com.
