Real estate in Southern Arizona is getting attention for all the right reasons; thanks to positive trends according to The article highlights the greater Tucson area, and the direction its housing market has trended in 2015.

Than Merrill, the author of the article, bases the viewpoint on economic improvements, anticipated spring selling season, and resale statistics.

The article includes listings of the fastest areas within the region, bouncing back off of the recession, and it points out Sahuarita in the mix of growing markets. According to Movoto, Sahuarita’s home resale inventories increased slightly, with a 5 percent increase since October 2015.

Distressed properties such as foreclosures and short sales decreased as a percentage of the total market in November. The median listing price in Sahuarita went down from October to November. There were a total of 10 price increases and 59 price decreases.
