According to the Tucson Association of Realtors, roughly a quarter of homes sold in Tucson in the month of June had a sales price somewhere between $200,000 and $299,000, as referenced in a recent story by Arizona Public Media.

This segment of “move-up” buyers is important to the local market; it signals not only that those individuals are in the position to sell their current home, but it also allows for those homes to go on the market. This results in many of those houses being available for the first-time homebuyer.
