Residents since 2004
Rick and Claudia Ochoa, originally from Tucson, moved to Rancho Sahuarita in the summer of 2004 to be closer to Rick’s job. They moved here when their two daughters were toddlers and they are now young adults. Their youngest child is about enter high school and he is Rancho Sahuarita born and raised!
The Ochoas were drawn to Rancho Sahuarita because of the “small town” feel it offers and Claudia commented that she has “always feels so safe here.” They love the family-friendly atmosphere and were able to connect with many other families early on as they starting coaching cheer and football with the Sahuarita 49ers. They remain friends with many of the same families they met when they first moved here 16 years ago!
In their free time, you will find the Ochoa family volunteering and fundraising for various community causes and for the local schools. Claudia, an employee of Rancho Sahuarita, also enjoys making balloon decorations as a hobby and is called upon often to help with decorating for Homecoming, graduations and other celebrations. In addition, they love watching their son and other local teens participate in sports and especially love cheering on the Red Wolves under the Friday night lights at Walden Grove High School!
