Rancho Sahuarita residents frequently rank our park and trail system as one of their favorite parts of the community. With nine parks and 17 miles of pedestrian and cycling trails, it’s easy to see why.
The nine parks include two “satellite” parks, one in the central part of the community, and one in the northern region. These satellite parks include pools, green space, play equipment, and picnic areas. They are smaller versions of the pool, park, ball courts, and play areas at Club Rancho Sahuarita, with its pool area, splash park, activities lawn, mini-golf course, and ball courts.
Rancho Sahuarita also includes a Bark Park, for our residents’ fluffy friends, and linear parks, which provide beautiful backdrops for picnics, Frisbee, and lounging in the sun.
Our trail system connects most of our parks through a series of beautiful and safe walking and cycling paths. Rancho Sahuarita’s most famous trail, The Safari Trail, is a unique walking path that is lined on all sides with life-size bronze statues of African animals.
